This website is run by the Ministry of Health & Wellness. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That means you should be able to:

  • Change colours, contrast levels and text size without losing content
  • Navigate the whole site using a keyboard alone
  • Use a screen reader to read every page, including forms and search results
  • Read all narrated audio as a transcript
  • Use the site on a small screen with one hand

Known limitations

We know some parts of this website are not yet fully accessible. Some published PDF documents predate our accessibility policy and are not fully tagged for screen readers. Where a document is not accessible, we will provide the information in another format on request.

Reporting a problem

If you find a problem, or need information in an alternative format such as large print, easy read or audio, tell us and we will respond within ten working days.

This website is designed mobile-first, with a minimum 44-pixel touch target, visible keyboard focus, contrast tested against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds, and support for reduced motion, larger text and high contrast preferences set in your device or in the signed-in area.
